The much-anticipated presidential visit of Rev Fr. John Alywin Dais to Infant Jesus school was an auspicious occasion marked by pride, and reverence. The event commenced with a resounding welcome by the school band. As the school flag was hoisted high, fluttering proudly in the breeze, it symbolized the indomitable spirit and commitment to excellence embodied by infant Jesus School. Valediction Day - A sweet Ending to the New Beginning
The Valediction day function at Infant Jesus school was a memorable event filled with nostalgia, gratitude, and celebration as we bid adieu to our outgoing students. Master Vinuth and Shriya of 9 Std hosted the programme The event commenced with a warm welcome extended to all attendees, followed by a soulful prayer invoking blessings for the departing students as they embark on their new journey. A poignant candle-lighting ceremony symbolized signifying the continuity of traditions and values upheld by our school community. The students took a solemn pledge to uphold the principles of integrity, excellence, and compassion in all their future. The 10thstudents shared their fondest memories, heartfelt reflections, and aspirations for the future. Their candid opinions and experiences served as a poignant reminder of the bonds forged within our school walls. A captivating PPT presentation showcased the goals and aspirations of the graduating class, highlighting their achievements, dreams, and aspirations for the future. . Visitation of Executive Secretary and office bearers of Capuchin Education Board
The Infant Jesus CISCE school was honored to host a visit from Fr. Robin Victor Dsouza, Executive Secretary of the Capuchin Education, Fr. Maxim Dsilva, the administrator of capuchin holy trinity province karnataka and Fr. Vijesh Loyed Meneges the economer and financial advisor, capuchine Friars service society. The visit aimed to showcase the school's achievements, programs, and engage in discussions regarding future plans for the institution. The programme started by welcoming dignitaries to the school assembly by the school band led by Master Prajwal and Stick master Aryan. Madam Greeshma hosted the programme the programme also included the school flag hoisting ceremony continued by March past. Rev Fr. Field trip- Sewage treatment Plant
On 20 February 2024 students of 6th and 7th along with class teachers went for a field trip to the sewage treatment plant. we arrived there at 10:30 AM. near Hiremagalur Chikkamagaluru town, Karnataka. Trip objective: The objective of the trip was to get to know the manual sewage water treatment steps Field observation: We were guided by the host who explained in detail about the following objective. 20 MLD capacity sewage treatment plant is based on MBBR technology to treat the sewage of this district prior to disposal into water body under the umbrella of Karnataka, urban water supply and drainage board Area consumed: 5983 sqm. Manual sewage water treatment involves several steps to remove impurities and contaminants. Here’s a simplified outline of the process:
Preliminary treatment: This involves screening to remove large objectives like sticks, rags, and plastics through a screening method that could damage equipment further downstream.
Primary treatment: this step is done through a grid system, and the sewage undergoes sedimentation, where heavier solids settle at the bottom forming sludge. This helps remove a significant portion of suspended solids.
Secondary treatment: Biological processes are employed to further through MBBR reactors, which break down organic matter in the sewage.
Disinfection: To ensure the treated water is safe for discharge or rescue, it undergoes disinfection to kill any remaining pathogens through chlorination. Sludge treatment and disposal: The sludge produced during primary and secondary treatment needs to be treated separately. This is done by drying sludge followed by rescue in application in agriculture. Conclusion: The trip ended at about 1 PM. It can be concluded that the trip was successful and we believe that our objective was achieved.

On 21 February 2024, students of class 3rd , 4th and 5th along with class teachers went for a field trip to tasty world.
Trip objective : The objective of the trip was to get to know multi-category snacks, manufacturers.
Field observation : We were guided by host who explained in detail about the following objective. Products include chakli, banana chips, banana chips pepper, kharaboondi, masala, powder, and more. The company sells its majority of products in Karnataka India. Tasty world serves in the food and agriculture, consumers goods market segment. Also viewed the product of peeling banana , chopping, frying ,proper mix of pepper and packaging process. Children enjoyed watching entire process and enthusiastically purchased many fresh and tasty snacks from the outlet.

Seminar on Cyber Security @ Infant Jesus CISCE School
Infant Jesus CISCE school kadrimidri in collaboration with Cyber Economics and Narcotics Crime Police, Chikkamagaluru conducted a small seminar aimed to introduce the students about the basics of cyber security and raise awareness about the importance of protecting personal and organizational data online. The programme hosted by the School department head Madam Rashmi I O. Expert from Cyber Economics and Narcotics Crime Police delivered a concise presentation on common cyber threats, including phishing, malware, and identity theft. The school principal Fr. Andrew Jayaraj addressed the gathering emphasizing the importance of vigilance and proactive measures in safeguarding against cyber threats. Students actively participated in the seminar they also had the opportunity to ask questions and seek clarifications from the experts.The short seminar on cyber security for students provided a valuable opportunity to raise awareness and educate young learners about the importance of online safety.

State Level Freedom Cup Taekwondo Championship @ Infant Jesus CISCE School
"The true essence of nay game shines through in moments of both victory and defeat, where athletes exhibit unwavering determination and respect for their opponents."
In collaboration with Vivekananda Fitness and Infant Jesus CISCE School organized the 2024 state-level Taekwondo Championship under the banner Freedom cup in the premises School on 21st January. This event aimed to promote the sport of Taekwondo and provide a platform for athletes to showcase their skills and compete at a higher level. More than 600 Taekwondo players from different districts of the state participated vibrantly. Our school HOD Rashmi I O spoke said that since Taekwondo sport is helpful in perfecting self-defense and discipline education. Former member of Municipal Council Surekhasampath said that today self-defense sports are indispensable for girls and children. Everyone should learn the art of discipline. The school band led the honorable dignitaries to the well-decorated dais with the great respect. The stage programme began with a traditional lamp lighting ceremony, symbolizing the dispelling of darkness and the ushering in of knowledge. This was followed by a mesmerizing classical dance performance that epitomized the grace and beauty of our cultural heritage. Madam Rashmi I O the Head of department greeted the audience with her sweet words of welcome, Rev. Fr. Robin Victor Dsouza the executive secretary of capuchin education board was the honorable president of the function. Mr. Narendra Pai the president of Chikkamagaluru private school association was the chief guest, Mr. Mahesh, Kannada writer, Rev.Fr. Vincent Balaraj the Gurdian of Infant Jesus Nivas was the guest of honor. Special awards were presented by the guests to the outstanding students, encouraging them to strive for excellence in all their endeavors. Rev.Fr. Republic Day Celebration @ Infant Jesus School
The Infant Jesus CISCE school celebrated Republic Day with great enthusiasm, patriotism, and fervor on 26th January 2024. The entire school community, including students, teachers, and staff, came together to commemorate the historic day. Our Principal Rev. Fr. Andrew Jayaraj, hoisted the National flag symbolizing the essence of unity and integrity. The national anthem echoed through the campus, filling the air with a sense of pride.. Rev. Fr. Vincent Balaraj addressed the gathering saying religious tolerance is essential for national unity. speeches were delivered by both students and teachers, emphasizing the significance of Republic Day. Children gave beautiful performance. The celebration concluded with the distribution of sweets, fostering a sense of camaraderie among students and staff. School Scouts troop won the First Prize in the District field March Past. Our Pupil also gave a patriotic performance the Kuvempu Kalamandir which was organized by district administration in the evening.

Morning class teachers organised different kinds of games for the students and distributed the prizes to the winners. As Kannada Rajyotsava is a significant cultural and state festival celebrated in the Indian state of Karnataka to commemorate the formation of the state and we celebrated this day with great enthusiasm and pride. Madam Darshini was the host of the programme and Madam Ramya welcomed the Chief Guest, president Principal, Vice Principal HOD, staff, students and parents . The programme included the introduction of the guest by Madam Bindhu. Speaches by Father Vincent the president of the program and Fr. Andrew Jayaraj the principal. Students from various grades participated in a cultural program, showcasing the rich heritage and traditions of Karnataka through dance. We were honored to have the guest Dr. Muralidhar, a well known Kannada columnist who delivered an inspiring speech about the importance of preserving the Kannada language and culture.Madam Kausalya delivered the vote of thanks. All the students and the management organised the occasion of Teachers Day celebration on 5th September 2023. The programme started with culture competition the theme was folk dance. All the teaching and the non teaching staff actively participated in the competition. Fr. Denzils of Kuduwalalli Parish , Mrs. Premalatha-faculty in Kendriya Vidyalaya Mrs. Asha - parent were the judges for the dance competition. Chandrayaana 3 - Celebartion with the Nation : Infant Jesus School
Indian Space Research Organisation's moon Lander Chandrayaan-3 touched down on the Moon's surface on Wednesday making India the fourth country in the world to achieve this feat and the first country to reach the Moon's south pole. Along with the nation Infantine too celebrated the historical milestone of the Indian Space Research Organisation, In the School assembly all children along with the Principal prayed silently for the success of the entire mission. The school was closed an hour early to facilitate the students to witness in their homes the live telecast of Chandrayaana 3. Children were requested to send the selfi before television to mark the event. In response, all the children enthusiastically witnessed a momentous achievement in space exploration with their smiling faces before the screen and clicked selfi on their cell phones.

INDEPENDENCE DAY : Infant Jesus School
The 77th Independence Day was celebrated in a grand manner at Infant Jesus CISE School. Rev Fr Arun Lobo, Chairman of the Commission for Justice and Peace was the chief guest of the day along with Fr. Vincent Bal Raj the school President, principal Fr. Andrew Jayaraj the Principal, Vice Principal Amar Lobo and Mrs. Rashmi IO, Head of School. The presentation of the program was done by teacher Amrita, welcome speech by teacher Anam and felicitation by teacher Asharani. Students Ms Vaishnavi (Class 9), Ms Ganavi (Class 7) and Ms Lakshya (Class 4) gave patriotic speeches making the vibes of patriotism flow through all the audience. Venerable Rev Fr. Arun Lobo, who was the chief guest of the program, hoisted the flag. Addressing the program, Rev Fr Arun Lobo encouraged the students to be good citizens by utilizing the freedom given by the freedom fighters in a proper manner. Mr. Manjunath, a parent who is currently working as a junior commissioned officer in the Border Defence Force at Kashmir, was felicitated. An attractive march of the students and various cultural programs were held winning the hearts of many present on the occasion.

Celebration of Bakrid : Infant Jesus School
Along with kids from the Muslim community, Bakrid, the festival of their religion , was observed in the school. The event's main guest was Rev. Moulvi. Sirjuddine Saquafi. He explained to the pupils the genuine meaning of the Bakrid festival and asked them to develop their faith and knowledge of God's grace. Fr. Vincent Balaraj addressed the group with a pertinent message about religious unity, invoking the theory of the rainbow. A student group sang the hymn Nath in praise of the glorious God. After all, the Holy Quran was read. Fr. Andrew Jayaraj praised the members of the cultural community for organizing such a significant occasion.

International Yoga Day is celebrated in school. Mrs Haripriya a well-known Yoga Instructor of town presided over the function. She enlightened the students about the benefits of Yoga and encouraged students to develop healthy habits. Andrew welcomed and introduced the new personnel, and during his inauguration address, he urged the students to be diligent and committed to attaining their objectives. Inauguration and Blessing Ceremony for New Compound Wall and Entrance Gate at School  : Infant Jesus School
On May 27th, 2023, the school held an inauguration and blessing ceremony for the brand-new compound wall and entrance gate. The event was hosted by Fr Amar Lobo, who welcomed all the guests. Fr Maxim D silva, on the other hand, blessed and inaugurated the new entrance gate. During his speech, he motivated the staff to work hard towards the development of the school, which caters to the educational needs of children in society and helps form knowledgeable and wise citizens, assisting in the country's growth. In addition to the inauguration, two new school buses were also blessed by Rev. Fr Elvin Lopez, the Provincial secretary. The Principal, Fr Andrew Jayaraj, expressed his gratitude towards the provincial minister, Fr Alwyn Dais, the executive secretary of Capuchin Education Board, Fr Robin D Souza, and the team of counsellors for their support of the project. He also thanked Fr Maxim D silva, the Provincial Administrator, for supervising the project, and Fr Vijesh Menezes, the Province Treasure, for overseeing the finances. To recognise and appreciate their dedicated service, the school felicitated Contractor Mr John Martis, Mason Chandrasekhar, and fabricator Mr Sunil D Souza. Overall, the inauguration and blessing ceremony were huge successes, and we are grateful to everyone who made them possible. We hope that the new compound wall and entrance gate will not only enhance the school's security but also serve as a symbol of our commitment to providing quality education to our students. PAIZORENA 2022-23 Annual Sports Meet : Infant Jesus School
Annual sporting event PAIZORENA 2022-23 held for two days. The inaugural ceremony was presided over by Fr. Maxim D. Silva, secretary of the Capuchin Friars Service Society. In his speech, the he urged the kids to engage in physical exercise of whatever size for overall health. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Girish, a national level Taekwondo player, by releasing the Dow into the sky. In his address, he urged the student to maximise their potential in order to succeed in life. The students were given the oath by the principal Fr Andrew Jayaraj . The administrator, Fr. Amar Lobo welcomed the guests. During the celebration, Fr Vijesh Menezes the Treasure of society Fr Vincent Balaraj the guardian and Mrs. Veena Ganesh, Mr. Lingachari, the parent representative were honoured. The orderly march-past by the different houses attracted the gathering. Different houses enthusiastically participated in different events, winning medals and cups. Students dance performance coloured the event. House Blue won the Rolling Trophy of 2022-23 securing the maximum Cups and Medals.
