PAIZORENA 2022-23 Annual Sports Meet : Infant Jesus School
Annual sporting event PAIZORENA 2022-23 held for two days. The inaugural ceremony was presided over by Fr. Maxim D. Silva, secretary of the Capuchin Friars Service Society. In his speech, the he urged the kids to engage in physical exercise of whatever size for overall health. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Girish, a national level Taekwondo player, by releasing the Dow into the sky. In his address, he urged the student to maximise their potential in order to succeed in life. The students were given the oath by the principal Fr Andrew Jayaraj . The administrator, Fr. Amar Lobo welcomed the guests. During the celebration, Fr Vijesh Menezes the Treasure of society Fr Vincent Balaraj the guardian and Mrs. Veena Ganesh, Mr. Lingachari, the parent representative were honoured. The orderly march-past by the different houses attracted the gathering. Different houses enthusiastically participated in different events, winning medals and cups. Students dance performance coloured the event. House Blue won the Rolling Trophy of 2022-23 securing the maximum Cups and Medals.

Christmas Celebration: Infant Jesus School
Christmas was reverently and gracefully observed. Students performed the skit about Jesus' birth. Along with Santa Claus, kids danced to the sound of jingle bells. The Christmas carols were sung by a school choral ensemble. Principal in his message said that Christmas is a celebration of love and forgiveness, and he urged everyone to live their lives in accordance with these principles. All were drawn in by the first graders' heavenly dance attire. The birthday of Fr. Andrew Jayaraj was also celebrated at school together with Christmas. Teachers and janitors welcomed the principal by singing the wishing song. Fr. Amar sent his best wishes to the principal on behalf of the Capuchin Friars Service Society and expressed his gratitude for his contribution towards the growth of the institution.

Children's Day Celebration : Infant Jesus School
The Children’s Day was celebrated with great Enthusiasm and energy. School assembly was conducted by the Teachers. In the morning class teachers organised different kinds of games for the students and distributed the prizes to the winners. In the afternoon children enjoyed the delicious food prepared by teachers themselves with love. The day became even more fun filled as the Teachers began a wonderful cultural program. Teachers enacted a short skit that filled the hall with laughter and fun. Principal Fr Ansdrew Jayaraj wished and prayed for the student’s better future. The teachers also performed a mesmerizing dance. They also showed their love towards the students by singing in unison a greeting song. It was a fun-filled and joyous day for the students.

Kannada Rajyothsava : Infant Jesus School
Kannada Rajyothsava was celebrated with the sense of pride. Various cultural dances were performed by the students highlighting the diversity of the land and culture. Fr Vincent Balaraj the president of the school gave an touching message enlightening the students to respect and love ones roots. Principal Fr Andrew in his address appreciated the teachers and students for putting up the fantastic cultural program. Many parents too attended the function and were very much delighted with the talents children.

Deepavali Celebration : Infant Jesus School
The festivity of light was celebrated with joy and happiness. Mr Sai Nandan, lecturer of Adichunchanagiri Institute of Technology, was the chief guest for the program. He in his address elaborated the significance of Indian culture and called the children to build their life on moral values. Students put of the short skit on Bali Chakravarthi and won the hearts of all who have gathered. To mark the significant of the event Children symbolically busted the crackers. Fr Amar, Administrator of school, invited the gathering to develop the spirit of Brotherhood.

Gandhi Jayanthi : Infant Jesus School
The birth anniversary celebration of Father of our nation was celebrated in the school meaningfully. Students of class 10 performed the shork skit on Dnadi March and paid tribute to the Mahathma. Principal Fr Andrew called upon the students to uphold the values that Gandiji has exhibited throughout his life. Teachers along with students conducted the interreligious prayer with devotion.

Teachers day celebration : Infant Jesus School
Teachers day was celebrated with festivity. Students performed cultural events and conducted games and competitions for the teachers. Kavya reperesting the students, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the teachers who play an important role in the life of the pupil. Prizes were distributed to the teachers who won in the dance, throw ball musical chair and Tug of war competition . The most enchanting part of teachers day celebration was of Teachers who were divided into four group put up different Traditional plays on the stage namely Punya Koti, Mahishasura Mardini, Malenada Sobagu and Hoaysala Kathe. All the groups performed wonderfully well winning the hearts of the audience. Fr Vincent Balraj the President of school gave an inspiring speech and appreciated the dedicated teaching. Fr Andrew Jayaraj while addressing the gathering he invited the teachers to take care of each student as their own child.

Our Nation Our Pride : Infant Jesus School
75th Independence day Azadi Ka Amruth Mahothsav was celebrated with grandeur and joy in Infant Jesus School Chikmagalur. School Principal Fr Andrew Jayaraj hoisted the tricolour with pride and cheer all the gathering saluted the National flag singing he National anthem with sense of pride and fulfilment. Students presented colourful program of dance and music for the audience arousing the high spirit of nationalism. Master Dheemanth of Class 10 grave and inspiring speech on patriotism and invited the students to remember and cherish the sacrifice of the martyrs and freedom fighters. Fr Amar Lobo the admin of the school elaborately explained to the students the achievement of India as one country in 75 years. He gave a clarion call to the students to love the country above one’s self interest religion and region. In honour of this great event various competitions were conducted namely Decorating the Indian Map, Umbrella decoration, Speech on Patriotism, Patriotic songs and Monolog . Fr Vincent Balaraj the president of the school distributed the certificates to the winners.

“Bakrid feast was celebrated in the school. The Program began with the meaningful introduction by Mrs Moor Siddiq. Rev. Moulvi Rafiq of Uppalli was the chief guest. He elaborately explained the students the significance of Bakrid Celebration for Muslim Community. Holy Qiuran was read with devotion by the student. Group of Students sang beautiful Qawwali before the gathering.

“The sun is up the sky is blue Its Beautiful so are you.” LKG and UKG students were draped in blue as the celebration of Blue day was organized. The school marked the occasion of Environment Day by participating in a tree-planting activity on the school grounds. 1st graders organized the program me with the assistance of the other teachers. A quote attributed to Plato states that "Begging is the essential part of the work." The beginning of the academic year 2022-2023 got off to a fantastic start with the participation of Fr. Robin Victor D'suoza at the inaugural event. On that day, children presented their varied abilities to everyone in attendance. The performanceof by Master Gandharvavudye stood out as the most alluring (recognition of person and thing blindfolded).The day was a very joyous occasion since it marked the arrival of Fr. Vincent Balraj as the new superior of Infant Jesus Nivas.
