Motto of the School:
Education for Peace, Progress & Prosperity.
The Capuchin Friars who are the followers of St. Francis of Assisi, who was born in Italy in the year 1181 and dedicated his entire life living and propagating the Universal Brotherhood, have drawn inspiration from their founder to live and work for the same brotherhood and to become instruments of Peace. Hence the motto of our school is
“Education for Peace, Progress & Prosperity”.

Trip
objective:
The
objective
of
the
trip
was
to
get
to
know
the
manual
sewage
water
treatment
steps
Field
observation:
We
were
guided
by
the
host
who
explained
in
detail
about
the
following
objective.
20
MLD
capacity
sewage
treatment
plant
is
based
on
MBBR
technology
to
treat
the
sewage
of
this
district
prior
to
disposal
into
water
body
under
the
umbrella
of
Karnataka,
urban
water
supply
and
drainage
board
Area
consumed:
5983
sqm.
Manual
sewage
water
treatment
involves
several
steps
to
remove
impurities
and
contaminants.
Here’s
a
simplified
outline
of
the
process:
Preliminary
treatment:
This
involves
screening
to
remove
large
objectives
like
sticks,
rags,
and
plastics
through
a
screening
method
that
could
damage
equipment
further
downstream.
Primary
treatment:
this
step
is
done
through
a
grid
system,
and
the
sewage
undergoes
sedimentation,
where
heavier
solids
settle
at
the
bottom
forming
sludge.
This
helps
remove
a
significant
portion
of
suspended
solids.
Secondary
treatment:
Biological
processes
are
employed
to
further
through
MBBR
reactors,
which
break
down
organic
matter
in
the
sewage.
Disinfection:
To
ensure
the
treated
water
is
safe
for
discharge
or
rescue,
it
undergoes
disinfection
to
kill
any
remaining
pathogens
through
chlorination.
Sludge
treatment
and
disposal:
The
sludge
produced
during
primary
and
secondary
treatment
needs
to
be
treated
separately.
This
is
done
by
drying
sludge
followed
by
rescue
in
application
in
agriculture.
Conclusion:
The
trip
ended
at
about
1
PM.
It
can
be
concluded
that
the
trip
was
successful
and
we
believe
that
our
objective
was
achieved.
