Sports Day at Infant Jesus School, Chikmagalur :
As a preparation for the School Annual Day of Infant Jesus School, sports day was conducted on 25th January, 2011. Fr. Arthur Menezes, OFM Cap. the parish priest and superior of Infant Mary’s Church at Bankal inaugurated the sports day by lighting the sports torch. In his address to the students, he requested them to play a clean game and congratulated them for the keen interest they show in sports. The principal Bro. Victor Crasta, OFM Cap. referring to the quotation from the I Corinthians 9:24, “All run at the stadium, but only one gets the prize, run as if to win” urged the students to cultivate the spirit of competition. Various games were conducted and the winners were selected to be honoured on the Annual Day 5th February, 2011. All of you are cordially invited.
